The Vision

GeHCo was created to build communities of health informatics experts by:

  • Upskilling the current workforce and training the next
  • Combining the knowledge of experts around the world to solve issues before they become expensive problems
  • Unlocking the distributed knowledge of global experts and applying them where needed but not leveraged –  due to a lack of awareness of alternatives.
  • People think its too hard but leveraging experience can simplify and improve solutions while reducing costs

GeHCo is passionate about solving eHealth and Health Informatics implementation issues with a focus on education and standardization to improve quality safety and efficiency in healthcare.  We see this as an essential building block underpinning the progressive use of technology in the health industry, enabling the population as a whole to have equitable access to safe and effective healthcare within a sustainable health system.

The Global eHealth Collaborative (GeHCo) is a not-for-profit organisation leveraging the expertise within the community.
